Only a random dispersion variable is used to create 'inaccuracy'. This is evidenced by the sniper rifles, there are no adjustments to make, the bullet lands on the centre of the crosshair each time, regardless of range. There is no travel time or alteration of course, it simply traces a straight line and deals damage instantly to the point of impact. Playwrite ( talk) 18:35, 15 October 2008 (UTC) Reply Hitscan weapons do not simulate the actual location of the bullet in flight. it certainly contains traditional firearms, unless you know something about firearms that I don't. the PC version is a tactical shooter, which as far as I know contains at least richochets. I would point out that there are actually 2 versions of GRAW: the PC version and the console versions. It doesn't even use projectile weapons, all weapons (bar grenade and rocket launchers) are of the hitscan type. Bullets are affected by gravity, bounced against solid surfaces at oblique angles."īad example as GRAW neither has bullet drop nor ricochets. "The games use of bullet physics is similar in nature to tactical shooters such as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter or Operation Flashpoint. I haven't had the time (or entirely the inclination) to get back on this, so I removed the construction tag. Hm, I though I deleted that comment ages ago. I will be gone for a few days, after which I will be back to work on the page. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE CONSTRUCTION TAG. Second, a separate section from the plot describing the zone in some kind of detail should be included. Firstly, More references are needed (which I will work on). Playwrite ( talk) 13:39, 22 July 2008 (UTC) Reply We still need a story section and the to do list is up to date- and you can see its nowhere near empty. I've done some substantial work, but I'm not finished yet by any means. Playwrite ( talk) 13:40, 21 July 2008 (UTC) Reply I'm currently editing the gameplay section The faction sub-section seems rather unnecessary, since factions rarely have any impact on gameplay. Playwrite ( talk) 04:43, 31 August 2008 (UTC) Reply When Clear Sky come out this page will get alot of traffic, so we should fix it before then. There is still a bunch of work that needs to be done, I'll check back every once in a while since in my experience the talk space is always dead. I removed the construction tag because I simply haven't had the time to get back to the page. well, I didn't until I read the start of the plot section :) Playwrite ( talk) 09:37, 21 July 2008 (UTC) In particular, it might be good to have separate setting and plot sections since I've been playing for over 10 hours and I still don't really understand the actual nature of the zone. If anyone is willing to completely rewrite the plot section that would be appreciated, as I have not yet finished the game (and I already found out more than I wanted to by reading the first few paragraphs). Ok, I'm going to fix up this page over the next few days.
